Marie C. writes: "I'm having trouble viewing GIS shape files that I had imported into ExpertGPS. I clicked send to GPS and the transfer was said to be made successfully. But, now I can't figure out how this will be viewed on the etrex. Also, I have many way points for all different projects. This is getting a bit confusing when the locations are overlapping. Is there a way, once I'm able to view them, to put the way points in a named file on ExpertGPS?"

Chad W. asks: "Our city is in the process of looking for map software that will enable us to go out and mark all fire hydrants, water valves, man holes etc. and then load these points to a gps for future use. Will this software accomodate us with these features?"

Brian G. asks: "I have a Magellan GPS315. I have successfully imported landmarks to Expert GPS but after I edit the name of one landmark, then try to send it to my GPS, my GPS does not show the change. No error is given. Just no change after I have changed it. Please advise if it is possible for me to send data back to my GPS."

Pat S. writes: "I was referred to your site by Garmin. I have a C330 and want to upload my Favorites to a computer file and be able to download back to the GPS after doing a map update. I do not need to upload any maps or other data. Can I do the Favorites only and at what cost?"

Stacie R. writes: "Is there a GPS system that will allow me to import my sales territory which is on excel with columns such as Agency Name, Address, City, State, ZIP (similar to mappoint) onto a GPS? I could have 1000 or more addresses based on a several state territory which is why I can't manually add them. Or, can you export excel to outlook and then to a gps from outlook?"

Al writes: "I have a Garmin GPSMAP60CSX. I would like to create/convert the track files into spreadsheets. I can save the track file as a GPX, but I'm looking for the capability to convert that GPX file into a spreadsheet. I'm using a Mac system, but Windows options are also needed. This is to allow me to share tracking data in a usable form with friends. What program can do this?"

Stacy X. writes: "What is the best method to create a gpx or kml file of an area filled polygon that has islands (a lake shp file). When I export as a gpx, it creates a polyline where the end node of the lake outline connects to the end nodes of each of the islands. When I export as a kml, the fill of the polygon is not complete. The strange part is when you zoom in, the lake polygon will fill; then if you zoom out, it empties."
